“A woman knows the face of the man she loves as a sailor knows the open sea.”

~Honore de Balzac

…or ‘in’ I should say.

Several of my girlfriends came over last night and we spent the night as only girlfriends can. Talking, drinking, eating, and laughing ourselves silly.

They can be bad…so bad!

But we behaved. Sort of.

Didn’t let Dennie book the stripper and no matter how many times MY computer visited the Le Bare website, it wasn’t me doing it. I swear!

But Brenda-who-refused-to-be-the-designated-driver-and-take-us-to-Dallas, your punishment for leaving early is to spend this next week scouring the internet trying to find your ‘MySpace’ website we created for you after you left.

Not really, but we thought long and hard about it. We gave you reprieve. This time.

After the last friend left and I straightened up the house, it was 2:00 am. I laid in bed thinking about how blessed I was to have love, friends, and the opportunities I have. Undoubtedly, it has been tough lately, but I love Mik’s favorite saying:

“In the end it will be okay. If it is not okay, then it is not the end.”

Did my walking this morning and have an appointment late this evening at my favorite place I buy my makeup to have a ‘makeover’. Might be fun. I could learn a new trick or two. And it is free! But the bad thing is that I have to take off all my makeup before I get there. Gasp! Hope I don’t run into anyone I know.

But right now, have tons of deskwork to do!

Have a great Sunday!

Sooo looking forward to Monday.

~Sandy

Hum, I should get my camera out and follow you over to your “favorite” make up place. A picture of you without make up could be worth something.

As for a My Space page, you really do have a death wish don’t you. Considering how much worse Dennie’s spelling got as she tried to fill in your page, I don’t think anybody would be able to figure out what it said. Let’s just say her typing didn’t improve with the mojitos she was downing.

Sorry I wasn’t willing to drive you all to Dallas to ogle muscle bound, twitching laddies, but no way was I going to be responsible for 3 tipsy women. Your bad enough sober!

Sandy Says:

Brenda: You know we were just kidding ya! No one was headed to Dallas. And I WAS sober!!!! The whole night! It was a lot of fun.

Michelle Says:

I had a GREAT time – sorry I was a party-pooper and left early but I was tired!

And really – that saying…is all true. ;)

Brenda Says:

That’s ok Snady…Sdany….Sdayn….whatever.

Sandy Says:

That was not me who couldn’t type as the night wore on. It was somebody we all know and love and is tons of fun!

Denise ~ Says:

you were so not sober when I left . . . .nuh-uh  and uh, I typed badly one purpose  sure I did!

What’s worse than a drunk dial–drunk myspace comments–hope my Dh’s friend doesn’t rib him too much :rotfl:

Denise ~ Says:

And I SOOOOOOOOOO wanted to got to Dallas!

Sandy Says:

Dennie: You and I and Michelle were dangerous enough just going down to the liquor store. But fun, though

You think Brenda ever found her MySpace page?
