“Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”

~Albert Schweitzer

…not to think about something, what do you think about? Exactly! The very thing you are NOT supposed to think about.

Talked to a friend at work today about her craving for her favorite ice cream. She was bemoaning the fact that she needed to lose 20 pounds but her husband had recently purchased a gallon of Blue Bell’s Hot Fudge Sundae ice cream – her favorite – and how she could think of nothing else but it sitting in her freezer.

Calling her name.

Her husband just told her not to think about it.

So now all I can think of is the pint of Blue Bell chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream sitting in my freezer.

Calling my name.

Don’t think about it…don’t think about it…don’t think about it…

Came home tonight and did my walking but only walked a mile. Slacker.

I’m just so tired this evening and can’t even begin to imagine why.

I feel a bubble bath and calling it an early night coming on.

But I will NOT think about chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream!

That ice cream is nasty. It is just gooey fat waiting to attach to your butt and thighs. It never goes to the boobs. That great new pants suit won’t fit so well if you give in. Hum, what do I have in the freezer? Ooooh, Breyer’s almond crunch!!

I’m finally revived from the shock of shopping on a weekend. Where did all those people come from and don’t they have things to do at home? All those little tweenies spending their parent’s money for really ugly clothes. I should know. My neice’s daughter loves the Limited. I was only going to spend $15 on each Christmas gift last year. Until I walked into the Limited to find her a gift. That place is a racket. There isn’t anything less than $40 and that’s just the junky necklaces. Now I know who runs the economy. This year, she is just getting a gift certifiate. Oh man, Christmas shopping– I can’t handle it. Need ice cream.
